Community Guidelines

Million Dollar Advertisement is a place for real businesses and creators to be seen, and for people to find them. These Community Guidelines say what is and is not allowed. They are part of our Terms of Service and apply to everything you post: profiles, logos, posts, reels, stories, comments, offers and messages.

1. Be honest and respectful

Treat other members with respect. Use your real business or brand name and describe what you sell accurately. Do not pretend to be someone else.

2. What is not allowed

• Illegal content or activity of any kind.
• Child safety: any sexual content involving children, or anything that exploits or endangers a child. We have zero tolerance and will report it to the authorities.
• Sexual or explicit content, including nudity and sexual services.
• Hate, harassment and bullying: attacking or threatening people because of who they are, or targeting someone with abuse or unwanted contact.
• Violence and dangerous content: threats, graphic violence, or content that encourages self-harm or harming others.
• Scams and fraud: fake giveaways, advance-fee or "double your money" schemes, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, fake investment or crypto promises, phishing, or asking people for payments outside the Platform under false pretences.
• Impersonation, fake reviews, and misleading claims about your business, prices, results or earnings.
• Spam: repetitive or unsolicited promotion, mass messaging, or fake engagement.
• Stealing other people's work, counterfeit goods, or anything that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Sharing other people's private information (such as phone numbers, addresses or ID documents) without permission.
• Malware, attempts to hack the Platform, or anything that disrupts it or other people's use of it.

3. Offers, products and services

Members can post offers. You must be allowed to sell what you list, and the description, photos and price must be accurate. You must not list: illegal or stolen goods, weapons or ammunition, illegal drugs, counterfeit or fake documents, human organs or trafficking, adult services, wildlife products, or anything else that is unlawful to sell in Nigeria or where you are. The Platform is not a party to sales between members and does not currently hold money in escrow.

4. Staying safe when dealing with other members

• Check who you are dealing with before you pay. Be careful of prices that seem too good to be true.
• Where you can, meet in a public place, inspect goods before paying, and keep records of what was agreed.
• Never share passwords, one-time codes, card PINs or full card details with anyone, including someone claiming to be from us. We will never ask for your codes.
• Report anything suspicious.

5. Reporting and blocking

• To report a profile, post, comment, story, square or message, use the Report option next to it. Tell us briefly what is wrong.
• To block someone, open their profile (⋯ menu) or a chat and choose Block. Blocked members can no longer see your profile or content or contact you, and you no longer see theirs. You can review and undo blocks in Dashboard → Account.

6. What we do about breaches

We review reports and can act on our own. Depending on how serious the problem is, we may remove content, warn you, hide your account, suspend it, or close it permanently, and we may pass information to the authorities where the law requires or allows. We may act without warning where someone could be harmed. If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] and we will take another look.
